Fiambrera meals are making a comeback.  To begin to understand this concept, you first must understand that mothers have been preparing fiambrera meals for centuries and continue to do so each time they fix their children's lunch boxes or Dad lunch to take to the job.  So you see the idea is not new.  Home cooked meals enjoyed at school and at work is in our culture.  In today's busy environment, with so many working couples, single parents, etc,  fiambrera meals represent a way to maintain well balanced meals in their lives.  Catering their dinners through a private catering service like Don Mael's Fiambrera is becoming more practical than take-out.  Private caterers offer prepared meals by the day, week or month.    The particular difference with Don Mael's service is that we do not offer pre-made, frozen meals.  Your choice of meals is limited to the meal of the day that is being prepare at Don Mael's Kitchen on the day you will enjoy it.  Our menu changes daily and all meals are freshly prepared and ready to pick up within the hour of completion.  They are packaged in 4 tier stainless steel fiambreras (lunchbox) for easy and sanitary transport.  At Don Mael's the kitchen is always open to visitors.  Equally important, is how the meals are priced.  The majority of the meals cost only $4.50 per person, way below the cost of take out. Don Mael's Fiambrera meals are home-made, nutritional and delicious.  You are always invited at Don Mael's for dinner.
