Facts about Take-out

I recently read in the Web, that a typical restaurant meal has at least 60% more calories than meals made at home.  Also, that Americans purchased 209 meals a person from restaurants last year, both eating at restaurants and buying takeout.  This according to the NPD Group, a market research firm.  I know that in my case that was certainly true.    “Mass food preparation is no match for the smaller preparation at home,” stated Carlos Ferrand, General Manger of a health food restaurant in the Wall Street District of New York City.  “There is more control at home.” He added. I believe that the trend in the restaurant industry is to give the client a good presentation not quality.  You are likely to remember how much you were served instead of how well it was prepared.  On the other hand, Fiambrera Meals, cooked at home, are remembered more for how delicious they were, not how much you got.  What do you think?  Let me know.
